  • Do I still have to pay a copay for an office visit?
    • No. Your membership fees cover unlimited office visits and most procedures.

  • If I enroll in a DPC model, do I still need health insurance?
    • Yes. This is not a replacement for health insurance. We strongly recommend you maintain some form of health insurance that best fits your needs. But speak with us first so we can help you select a plan that is most cost effective for you and complements the model. We want to help you save money!

  • What's the difference between a direct primary care (DPC) practice and a concierge practice?
    • With a DPC practice, you get "concierge" level of care and attention. BUT, unlike a concierge practice, we are not profit driven. Our costs are typically at wholesale costs. This ensures that patients get access to medical care without the hindrance of cost

  • If I have Medicare, can I still be part of the practice?
    • Absolutely. You will just be required to sign a waiver stating that you nor the practice will bill Medicare for any doctor professional service. You can however still use your benefits for prescriptions, labs, outside imaging studies, specialist referrals, etc.

  • How do I know if a DPC practice is right for me?

  • Is there a binding contract?
    • We do have a contract that insures we provide the services that we say and clearly outlines the cost. But it can be cancelled at any time with a 30 day notice without any penalties or fees! We are not here to trap you in to something you don't like. Our goal is to provide you with unrestricted access to excellent health care.

  • What ways can I reach my doctor?
    • Your doctor is available to you at all times via office, phone, email, text messages, or even Video Chat. Whatever fits your schedule. We will even try and make home/office visits if needed!

  • Can I use my HSA/FSA?
    • Yes. But there are specific guidelines that need to be followed. Call us to discuss how you can maximize your saved health care money!

  • Will I still benefit from this model if I rarely see the doctor?
    • Absolutely. It's great that you are healthy. But we focus on preventative healthcare. Meaning we want you to stay healthy. Part of that is seeing your doctor on a routine basis (at least 1-2 times per year) to make sure. One of those visits is a complete and thorough wellness exam. And since there is never a cost associated with these visits, then why wouldn't you want to have someone monitor your health?

  • How long are the appointments?
    • They can be as short as you like or take an hour! It's completely flexible and designed to pay you the attention you deserve. We typically set aside 45 minutes per appointment, but it can be adjusted as needed!

  • Is there a maximum number of patients you accept?
    • Actually yes. Because we devote so much time to each patient at every visit, we can only see a certain number of patients. Also, limiting the practice size insures that we know each and every patient personally. Typically the practice will accept about 500-600 patients per doctor.

  • Are the fees affordable?
    • Without question! Labs for the average patient in our model cost less than $100 for the entire year! And all other services like x-ray, vaccines, injectable meds, etc., are pennies on the dollar. The monthly membership fee is extremely economical. Consider what the average person spends per month on a cell phone bill or cable/satellite TV? How about a gym/trainer membership, splurges to Starbucks or the theater regularly? Compare those expenses to having your own private doctor who is accessible to you 24/7 for whatever you need and to keep you healthy. I'd say it's a steal!

  • Do you offer rate adjustments for those financially disadvantaged?
    • Please arrange to meet with us face to face so we can review your needs and situation. We do make special arrangements for those in financial hardship. These are determined on a case by case basis.

  • Do you offer employer plans?
    • We love to work with employers! Especially those with 5-50 employees. We will tailor a plan that best fits your company's needs and your employees' goals.   • What ages do you accept?
    • We accept patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors!
